  We assist Native American Tribes, tribal entities, and native individuals with Loan Guarantees (LG). These LGs are made through BIA eligible lenders that provide loans for starting, expanding, or refinancing businesses. I will attach a copy of a brochure along with other pertinent info that will give you an idea of what we do and what needs to be done.We do have regulations that require, from a synoptic point of view, the following:1. The business must contribute to the economy of an Indian Reservation or tribal service area (25 CFR 103.4)2. We can guarantee up to 90 percent of the unpaid principal and accrued interest due on a loan (25 CFR 103.6)3. The borrower must be projected to have at least 20 percent equity in the business being financed (25 CFR 103.7)We work through lenders to provide the loan guarantee. The lender is responsible for determining whether it will require a BIA Loan Guarantee based upon the loan application it receives from an eligible borrower.
