As a strategist on the Offsite SEO team, my role included off-site SEO to build backlinks as well as developing new tactics and strategies to continually improve the department. Implemented a new process to automatically check existing outreach for backlinks, a process which found 5 months’ worth of work in 1 day and is still used to this day.

Additionally, built a Chrome extension to automate spam checks of websites, existing client links, and a black list of banned sites. The Chrome extension is still being used by the team and checking up to 1,500 websites each day, saving the team an average of 4 hours per day for the past 7 years.

My roles included implementing email campaigns and landing pages to promote local charities, as well as working with the development team on QA and the sales team on CRM development within HubSpot.

Course Companion is an online educational tool that provides personalized study material for Economics courses at Arizona State University. As a co-founder and manager of the technical side, my job was to create the site, find suitable hosting for hundreds of gigabytes of content, and be able to stream and optimize the content for thousands students connecting at the same time just days before the test.Course Companion has been so successful in improving the grades of students taking the Economics courses that we have since partnered with ASU to provide our content to all ASU students free of charge.
