Independent marketing, strategy and research consultant; providing counsel on business issues and decisions, and research methodology, supported by primary research as appropriate. Work has covered ~40 countries, providing management with needed information, insights, and guidance thorough understanding of the values inherent in specific products, services, and brands; the prime prospects for those products and services, the appropriate positioning and communication for reaching the prospects, and the appropriate pricing and portfolio, and other support to achieve success in the marketplace. As needed this has included development and support of advertising claims as well as defense against challenges to claims.

'GJP'​ participated in the Aggregative Contingent Estimation (ACE) Program, sponsored by IARPA (the U.S. Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity). The ACE Program aimed "to dramatically enhance the accuracy, precision, and timeliness of forecasts for a broad range of event types, through the development of advanced techniques that elicit, weight, and combine the judgments of many intelligence analysts.The Good Judgment research team is based in the University of Pennsylvania and the University of California Berkeley. My role was as a team member of a select group of the most successful of GJP's forecaster'GJI' was formed as a commercial entity following the conclusion of the Good Judgment Project. GJI aims to help clients make better decisions; reducing their risk, both through forecasting and training. My role continues as one of a team of forecasters addressing a broad range of issues that are relevant to various clients (commercial, non-profit, government, NGO)
