I am a dedicated and passionate public engagement professional specialising in the biological sciences, with experience in the academic and commercial sectors. I have worked on projects aimed at stimulating interest in and encouraging discussion about biological research. I've worked with a wide range of groups including school children, young adults, families, patient groups, community groups and healthcare professionals. I've developed printed materials, websites and applications, discussion workshops, hands-on interactives, exhibitions, performances, science festivals, animations, and films. At present, I am Public Engagement Lead at UKRI with a focus on public engagement with research. I host and organise public events, develop exhibitions and resources, support collaborations with artists and writers, and deliver science communication training for researchers.
