Scholars of Finance (SOF) seeks to build a future where all finance leaders steward the world's capital to serve the greater good. SOF was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2017 while being operated by a volunteer board. Since then, SOF has gained remarkable traction in the finance community and inspired a number of bold philanthropic investors and partners allowing SOF to hire a full-time CEO in 2019 and COO in 2020. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Oversees all operational, financial and program aspects of the company, interpreting visionary leadership directives to administer all goals and objectives of dozens of employees and interns. • Determines and establishes quality standards that significantly grew customer satisfaction while creating nine new referrals from financial executives.• Partnered with the CEO to increase the cash runway from three to nineteen months by managing P&L, devising and executing cost-savings initiatives, operating the business to allow the CEO to focus on fundraising, and identifying new realized revenue.• Participated in the development of a corporate recruitment product through extensive research, with the product being adopted by various large firms such as Goldman Sachs, U.S. Bank, and Piper Sandler.
