I've had the good fortune to work exclusively in the motorcycle industry for the past 48 years, having started as an apprentice mechanic at a Triumph motorcycle dealership in 1971. Factory level jobs as a racing mechanic followed with Yamaha, Norton-Triumph,and Harley-Davidson racing teams. These jobs gave me the opportunity to learn from legends of the sport including Dick O'Brien, Carroll Resweber, Babe De May, Bill Werner, and many other talented individuals.I left Harley-Davidson in 1979 to return to California where I started Storz Performance, Inc. in 1980 to provide parts, accessories, and services for H-D XR750 flat track racing customers.Over the years Storz Performance evolved into an aftermarket supplier of motorcycle accessories forstreet bikes including Harley-Davidson, Buell, Ducati, and other brands.In April of 2016 I was inducted to the Trailblazers Motorcycle Club Hall Of Fame for which I am very grateful.
