• Assisting in the development and implementing the Application Roadmap for Plant Floor systems; ensuring alignment with long term business requirements and strategy.• Accountable for leading or assisting with the global rollout and maintenance of Plant Floor systems.• Supporting the discovery process for new requirements for SH&E, Engineering, and plant floor applications and designing cost-effective solutions.• Routinely working with technologies including: Aveva PI, GE Proficy, Bartender, and Inductive Automation Ignition applications.• Overseeing IT support for plant Operational Technologies (OT) such as Distributed Controls Systems (DCS).• Engineering tool kit technical support - CAD, Minitab, 6 Sigma, OpenText RMS, Drawing Management systems, and simulation software.• Work closely with plant personnel to identify and coordinate hardware and software requirements required for plant floor systems.• Support implementation of adequate cybersecurity controls across all Plant Floor system with IT Control Systems Security Architect.

As a senior member of Ingevity's Enterprise Field Services Team, responsible for end user application & hardware support including PC workstations, printers/drivers, basic network & wireless troubleshooting, RF scanner support, server support and resolution of level III trouble tickets, while operating in a 24x7 office and manufacturing environment. In addition, Providing advanced desk-side support, interfacing with a diverse user community and a variety of office, laboratory, and production equipment & personnel. This includes installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and control of critical technology infrastructure. As a member of the Field Services Team, providing hands-on support for Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and wired/wireless network solutions.Working in an ITIL-compliant Change Management environment, maintaining both personal and team SLA compliance.• Lead in a project environment – both locally-focused and enterprise-wide, and coaching and direct others during short projects• Providing day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure, internal workstations, software, and hardware.• Working primarily with technology assets including: single-user & networked desktop & laptop clients; network printers; network servers; switches & cabling; process control clients.• Communicating highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.• Developing and maintaining credible and effective working relationships with plant management, engineering, maintenance, and IT personnel in a way that demonstrates a solid understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues and priorities.• Recommending hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.• Troubleshooting complex hardware and software problems and create innovative solutions.• Performing analytical, technical, and administrative work to aid in the on-going support of technology assets.
