As the Director of Fleet Operations at National Trench Safety, I oversee the transportation and logistics of all rolling fleet and equipment across the US and Canada, managing a multimillion-dollar P&L and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. With over nine years of experience in this role, I have developed and implemented various cost-saving and efficiency strategies that have reduced R&M expenses, optimized asset utilization, and increased profitability.Some of the key initiatives that I have led or contributed to include relocating under-utilized assets to more profitable locations, establishing a third-party liquidation sales process, integrating multiple software solutions such as HOLMAN's maintenance dashboard and SAMSARA's tracking/GPS system, and harmonizing fleet standards and practices during several mergers and acquisitions. I have also innovated solutions for improving vehicle and equipment specifications to meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers and stakeholders.
