I am a Manager specialising in enabling growth of staff and resellers of products, involved in the Home Improvement and Rural Merchandise industries, at a national level.I have developed strong, rewarding, long-term relationships with suppliers (both local and international), resellers and colleagues through listening, understanding needs and delivering solutions.I have worked in this field for 25 plus years, across sales, state management as well as national management roles.In these roles, I have been responsible for establishing and managing up to 2 warehouses and a manufacturing facility. I also pioneered a national merchandising team and managed a national sales team of 15 people, as well as a national customer service team. I have lead both businesses to National recognition by their key customer groups, achieving top 3 results in the Fencing Category with CRT, and National Supplier of the Year numerous times with AIRR, both leading distribution streams in the Australian Rural Merchandise supply chain.I have also had significant exposure in dealing in and with Chinese suppliers in China. Key processes I have been responsible for include product design and development, pricing, negotiation, quality control and supply chain management.My key skills include people management, relationship management, finding win-win solutions, and finding ways and means to create profitable sales growth.My greatest satisfaction and passion comes from seeing both people and businesses, whether they be colleagues or customers, grow and succeed with the input I have given.
