Leading a team of quality engineers and rework/inspection personnel – supporting manufacturing locations in Mexico, China, Philippines, Vietnam and Japan. Responsible for a departmental budget of over $350,000.

Responsible for the development and assessment of global supply base. Assisted suppliers with the submission of PPAPs and responses to corrective actions ensuring that they meet company expectations and industry standards. Facilitated training at supplier and internal locations.

Responsible for managing/coordinating staff of 4 Plant Quality Managers, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Supervisor, Corporate Laboratory Supervisor, and GMI Co-Op Program. • Developed, implemented and successfully achieved corporate-wide QS–9000 registration within 1 year – including four manufacturing facilities, Engineering & Development Center, and Headquarters – (a total of 500+ employees).
