Managed a team of 6 Supply Chain planners to facilitate the smooth planning on a daily basis.Works with Benore IT Department to enhance the current supply chain process. Designed an “Advanced Planning and Operations tool” which helps 4 departments to plan their resources way in advance rather than a 6 hour notice. This is a tremendous money saving and making concept used by Benore in tendering for new loads, man power allocation, accuracy in return loading process. Worked extensively on SAP ERP and Procurement Systems.Leading multiple onsite supply chain planning projects of Benore at BMW Re-engineered the process of truck load planning by automating it in excel and designed a template to incorporate the automation in the website. This process improved the accuracy, reduced human errors and saved 20 hours time a week for the load planning team. Working as the bridge between BMW supply planners and its vendors. Designed the template to catch the missing demand after manual planning. This saved the company with not only expedites but also with plant downtime heavy penalties. Tray Pack Division, Mt Olive Sept 2009- Present • Accumulated the data from manufacturing and demand planning which is required to design a Strategic Capacity model for the first time in TP division. This report is being used extensively by S&OP teams. Redesigned and semi-automated the entire Master Scheduling model (MPS) and the low level daily production planning model for the Tray Pack division. Conducted root cause analysis and eliminated the steps which caused human errors and improved the visibility of the inventory systems. Designed a database to report the distress product reason details which improved theefficiency and communication between the plant and supply planners. • Used Pareto analysis to identify the major causes for the distress and helped manufacturing (QA hold) and distribution (mis-rotation) concentrate on the same. Facilitated the weekly meetings between supply, demand, sales, CS, manufacturing, distribution and R&D teams. Entire plant operations, Longmont, CO Current responsibilities include master production scheduling, capacity planning for S&OP, deployment, raw materials, WIP and SKU inventory management and supply management across multiple facilities. Communicating with plant managers, planners, demand planners, customer service, shipping, 3PL logistics team, and purchasing to maintain smooth supply chain and to satisfy the customer demands.
