I have recently returned to Fairport Construction as Business Development Manager for the Midlands & North East

Fairport Construction Equipment Ltd. is a manufacturer of construction equipment including plate compactors and pokers based in Sheffield U.K. The facility forms the hub for sales, support and distribution of machines, tools and equipment used by the building / construction industry in the UK and worldwide. As well as supplying compaction equipment such as Tamper Rammers, Vibrating Rollers and Reversible Plate Compactors.• Responsible for increasing total spend of existing customers and sourcing new business, ensuring customer relations and satisfaction are upheld.• Taking and making calls from businesses throughout the UK and closing the leads that have been generated• Consistently meet sales targets, calling on prospective customers to open new accounts, meeting existing customers.• Challenging any objections with a view of getting customers to buy• Selling to all sectors of the construction industry and consistently setting out to achieve and improve annual sales targets.• Provide high standards of ongoing training to new and existing customers.• Regularly promote and demonstrate Fairport construction equipment on construction sites throughout the UK.• Servicing the needs of existing customers• Regularly participate in trade shows related to the industry.• Keeping up to date with products and competitors• Attending sales meetings and Producing reporting information on a monthly basis

I have recently commenced employment with Wacker Neuson working as the Dealer Area Manager.

Errut Products is a concrete finishing machinery equipment manufacturer. Belle Group is European Manufacturer of a full range of Light construction products, with its own production site in England. The Belle Group acquired Errut Products during my employment as Production Manager.• Supervised and managed a team of sixty individuals ranging from the welding and fabrication team to the assemblers, fitters and stores team.• Experience with employee related issues including time keeping and disciplinaries.• Regularly visited global companies to promote Errut Products/Belle Group.• Consistently the ‘go to’ person with any work related queries.• Following Belle acquiring a US business, I was responsible for training the US staff in the use of Belle products.• Responsible for continuous maintenance of all product machinery/tools.

• Responsible for leading a team of seven fitters.• Responsible for building and overseeing all products ensuring they were of the best quality.• After sales service• Delivered training on a regular basis.• Assembling and building all products specialising in large floor saws and ride on power floats.• Service Fitter for UK sites and occasional global travel.
