Summary of Major ProjectsManaged File TransferThis project spanned all Fidelity Business Units in order to replace the Cyclone file transfer product as well as the numerous homegrown FTP implementations with the Synchrony application from Axway Inc.MPLS Tier 3 NetworksReplaced the single point of failure Sprint networks with a dual vendor solution (Verizon and AT&T) across 150 Fidelity Investment Centers and other domestic remote locations. Best Source Hardware MaintenanceThis project management role involved working closely with engineering and operations to develop a comprehensive risk register and RFP to solicit bids for network and server hardware maintenance. Global Network ScanningDeployed over 50 IPSonar scanners from Lumeta across the US, Canada, India, Europe and the Pacific Rim. The development of processes, procedures, training programs and documentation ultimately led to an ongoing repeatable process of quarterly network scans.Linux MigrationThis project targeted the conversion of all applications residing on over 3,000 AIX and Solaris RISC servers to a virtualized Linux environment. Extensive TCO and ROI analysis was done in conjunction with both the IBM and HP migration factories. Global Network Assessment and Remediation Worked with Cisco to develop a comprehensive network security best practice. All Fidelity global IT groups were then assessed to these standards after which they implemented remediation plans, which were then validated. This process was then made into an ongoing repeatable process.ISO 20000Responsibilities included assistance in the development of level one, two and three policies, processes, procedures and workflows for seven of thirteen ISO 20000 practices.ITG Application Software UpgradeThis company-wide software application upgrade from Version 5.5 to 6.0 included a fully redundant net new hardware build out across two data centers.

Interactive Voice Response and Intelligent PeripheralsThe project involved 5 major releases (each major release was about an 18-month project). Product was networked multi-national intelligent peripheral telecom systems, including complex, multi-layered, real-time compilation of hosts, switches, databases, LAN and WAN topologies for TCP/IP, Ethernet / Token Ring interfaces and Internet applications for administration.ISO 9001 Management RepresentativeSpearheaded an 18-month ISO 9001 project getting certification on the first audit for a $150 million company. Served as the quality implementation team project leader and the ISO-mandated Management Representative.
