Managed various responsibilities directed toward developing and marketing a PPO network of medical providers that provide service to employers to meet their work comp needs. Constant communication with TPAs, insurance carriers and self-insured employers in this regard. I was responsible for medical provider / health system recruitment into our network and the negotiation of terms of reimbursement / contract language. We more than tripled the annual revenue of the organization during my tenure while also expanding the employee base from four to sixteen full time employees. We grew to become the fourth largest health plan in Kansas City, serving more than 500,000 covered lives, as ranked by the KC Business Journal in 2005.
