ATRON is a leader in contract manufacturing solutions and cable and wire harness solutions. ATRON builds custom High Pressure Gas Compression Systems. Steve has 30+ years of experience in the design, build and service of industrial motors, motor control, switchgear, process control and automation systems, and specializes in PLC control systems, synchronous motor systems and high pressure gas compression systems for alternative fuels and industrial gases (i.e. Helium, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, etc.). During these 30 years, Steve has been responsible for design of both electrical and mechanical systems as a project engineer and as an engineering manager, also he has set-up and managed the service department for two compression and automation firms. As the CEO of one business and GM of the other, orchestrated the merger of the two firms which created a cohesive synergy and the combined business had staggering growth for two years until the business became attractive to GreenField Compression in 2001. Steve then became the manager for automation and senior field engineer for 10 years.
