I am currently a Technical Sales Analyst with the Willamette Valley Company. My 10+ years of experience in the building products industry allows me to bring broader perspective to the filler and extender team. The Willamette Valley company is customer focused to bring not only innovative products but the service and knowledge to make those products deliver the most value to the customer.I previously worked for Georgia-Pacific Chemicals as a Technical Services Project Manager. I worked closely with the sales team to deliver strong customer service through knowledge of the industry and value creation projects that incorporate the use of Go Chemicals resources and the customers for a mutual benefit.I have been assigned to multiple projects where collaboration between two companies or interrelated companies is necessary to resolve complex issues. I was a leader in our sales safety excellence team, where I worked with 4 other business units to create a stronger safety culture. Our goal was to create an environment that provides all team members with the greatest possible chance for success while advancing the team’s vision. We started with 6 (10%) sales personnel and grew that to reach 66% of the sales force involved with some portion of our sales safety excellence team by the time I rotated off the team. I previously owned three major accounts in three different building products industries; Plywood, OSB and Particleboard. In owning these accounts I was responsible for quality assurance and customer satisfaction. I offered my technical knowledge of their processes as well as how that relates to our products. I was previously involved with a small group that is dedicated to our GP DMC equipment, formaldehyde emission technology.I worked my way up in leadership in my seven years working with the USDA Forest Service. I tackled individual assignments as well as supervising and leading small groups in complex incident command systems. I was self motavated to take extra training and courses to take on management roles such as engine boss and squad boss.Volunteering as a coach has added the ability to teach and communicate in various ways. I provide strong leadership qualities and have the ability to adapt and learn quickly; while having integrity and a strong work ethic.
