When I attended Butler County Community College, I was extremely unsure what life had in store for me. I was able to have some really great teachers along the way. I appreciate the guidance I had from Susan and Frank at BC3, they really molded me into the writer I needed to be. I learned at BC3 you have to have a thick skin in the business of journalism. You can’t let the world run you.As a writer you have to take the world by the hand and take it on a journey. Katy the editor in chief of the Cube helped mold me to. I was able to see her grow also. The journey we took while running the paper was something I’ll never forget. We had nights where things didn’t go as planned and stories didn’t come in. We were able to fight the battles of having our own editorial sessions. We both grew as people and as writers.
