 Provide individual and group therapy to veterans in the Substance Abuse Treatment Program Created and implemented an evening program and facilitate said program Monday – Thursday Spearheaded efforts to incorporate services for veterans involved in the legal system Lead and serve as the liaison to the hospital by managing all consults coming into the program Trained in Prolonged Exposure, designed to treat patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Co-Facilitate a Contingency Management Program designed to incentivize veterans quitting the use of stimulants Directed the re-design of the Intensive Outpatient Program Skilled in numerous types of therapy including: Cognitive Behavioral, Multi-Systemic Family Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Anger Management, Dialectical Behavioral, Matrix Model (Relapse Prevention and Early Recovery Skills), and Motivational Enhancement Weekly service in on-call/triage clinician managing crisis and helping patients access care Conduct thorough Bio-Psycho-Social Assessments and treatment planning when enrolling veterans into the program Work closely with an Addictions Psychiatrist who prescribes Psychotropic Medications Supervised staff working towards LCSW and CAC certifications Manage and supervise Clinical Social Work interns

Provide intensive clinical case management for veteran's suffering from serious mental illness.Administer Evidenced Based Practices for a variety of mental health disorders.Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality in care provided.

 Create addictions treatment programming for the VA's homeless program Offer intense case management to a caseload of substance dependent and mentally ill veterans Support team members in getting veterans into treatment within the VA and the community Provide consultation to case managers working with veterans struggling with addictions Facilitate multiple group therapy sessions per week focused on addictions, homelessness, and mental health issues Act as liaison between the VA's substance abuse treatment program and the homeless program Network with other VA substance abuse treatment programs nationwide and act as the Denver VA's point of contact in the homeless program Supervised staff working towards LCSW and CAC certifications

 Conduct Multisystemic Therapy for court ordered youth and their families using various therapeutic techniques Delivered client centered and strengths based structural, solutions focused, and narrative therapy, in addition to CBT and motivational interviewing Coordinate and facilitate staff meetings with all professionals involved with client Deliver substance abuse treatment to court ordered youth Alternate supervisor for a team of four to five therapists Support new therapist and interns with engaging resistant clients Supervise and teach graduate level interns for their field practicum Plan and facilitate staff retreats utilizing initiatives that focus on team building Coordinate outings for youth in day treatment facility

 Planned, organized and led wilderness expeditions for adolescents and adults Counseled, guided, and instructed in the areas of self-care, teamwork, anger management, decision making, and communication skills as well as basic camping, canoeing, portaging and rock climbing Facilitated a family session between students and parents on summer high risk youth courses Trained instructors into Outward Bound structures and format and  Managed interns and guided their personal development to become future instructors
