The most important part of naming is to get above the level of what you make-and-do so I work to capture the genuine 'aboutness'​ of your company or product, then translate that promise into authentic brand expression for the marketplace. I start by developing your Creative Brief Worksheet which will inform our Input Session, after which I will create the Long List of +/- #250 names. Next we shortlist our top #25 for Trademark Screening and other due diligence, before reconvening for our List Review Session with Verbal Branding Consultation. The process takes 4 weeks & my fee is $13k.

Responsible for all aspects of naming practice within Brand Momentum Group, initiating client relationships and maintaining professional liaison with c-level executives, gaining agreement on scope-of-work and prioritizing criteria for evaluating creative deliverables. Developed research, ran brainstorms, crafted strategies, created new corporate and product identities (as well as taglines) for clients such as Cisco, Kodak, Brocade, Peoplesoft and Seurat.com

Initiated client relationships for brand audits, (re)positioning and (re)naming, as well as iconography and graphic design. Managed client expectations and supervised teams of professionals, producing high quality deliverables and high value brand consultation.
