Using acoustic filters or Dynamic Sound Technology, our innovative sound control products let you hear what you want to hear, whilst keeping you protected from unwanted sound. DST (Dynamic Sound Technology) is a mechatronic system built into an ear bud that automatically controls the sound level reaching the ear, this is achieved without processing the sound or causing distortion. DST lets you hear natural sound as it reaches your ear at your desired level.

The Sound Projector group within CML developed and licensed phased array speaker technology for 5.1 surround sound applications commercially known as 'Digital Sound Projector' or 'Integrated Sound Projector'. As Business Development and Group Director within CML my role was to manage the Sound Projector group, including licensing, marketing, product development and Engineering. My dual role as the group and business development director led to:Commercialisation of the IP through licensing of strategic Semiconductor partners resulting in radical reduction of solution cost and customer product development time.Conceptualisation and execution of business strategy and licensing models for semiconductor partners and CE manufacturers, including FPTV and PC applicationsMarket analysis, product roadmap and product planning for CE markets. Management of partner and licensee relationshipsSuccessful licence negotiations with tier 1 and 2 FPTV, PC and semiconductor manufacturers. The first flat panel TV’s with integrated Sound Projector were launched both in the USA at CES and in Europe at IFA. Successful licensees included semiconductor solutions with Micronas (now CSR) and TV solutions with Mitsubishi, Beko and Grundig
