Therefore I created a brand for myself called S.H.E.D. It stands for "Striving Higher Every Day" and that is the manta I live by and share with the world. Each day is a new learning experience, therefore we can never truly be experts and must continue to seek the knowledge to evolve by acting on it and experiencing it while not being afraid to fail. I strive to evolve, and make connections for a tomorrow that will be better than today with a bias toward action while helping others find their true identity and purpose in this world.Throughout my career, I have done everything from coaching, to leading teams, to strategic planning, to alumni engagement, to managing events, to creative design, to digital communication, to project management all with a design thinking and inclusive approach. I am also a certified Life Coach. I founded Strive Higher After Sports out of my own experience going through athlete transition and the desire to help other athletes in their transition. Transitioning out of sports is tough and there is a loss of identity that needs to be rediscovered. My mission and purpose is to help athletes Strive Higher and design a fulfilled life after sports.
