Welcome to “Speaking Sidemount”. This podcast was born out of my desire to learn and share within the sidemount and cave diving community. I’ve always been a rabid consumer of sidemount diving YouTube video and Facebook groups. I wanted to share my passion for sidemount diving and also provide a medium for the world’s top sidemount divers, instructors and explorers to share their experiences and thoughts on sidemount diving. Steve served on HMNZS Canterbury and Wellington for over six years of his 14-year career. He joined Canterbury as a young Apprentice engineer in 1981 and 11 years later became the Marine Engineer Officer or "Chief Engineer".
