The book includes numerous images and diagrams showing the ship, its layout and dive routes. Steve Davis is professional diver and former Officer in the Royal New Zealand Navy. Steve served on HMNZS Canterbury and Wellington for over six years of his 14-year career. He joined Canterbury as a young Apprentice engineer in 1981 and 11 years later became the Marine Engineer Officer or "Chief Engineer".
