I have worked in the IT Industry for 30 years initially in technical roles moving into sales for the last 25 years. I have led both technical and sales organisations during that time. I am passionate about IT solutions and the impact they have on our work and our lives. My role, now in Sales, was to drive the emerging client server business for the company in Ireland. During my time here I was responsible for winning some key new franchises, notably into the emerging 3G market in Ireland, as well as account managing some of their key existing accounts. My approach was, and still is, to build trusted relationships based on delivering value that directly aligned to the customer's specific business need. This was sometimes to reduce operational costs, other times to deliver reliable services that enabled agile growth for the customer.I have spent the last 21 years working in Cisco Systems. 11 of those years have been in a variety of sales roles in Public Sector, Service Provider, Contact Centre Specialist. For the last 10 years I have led the Commercial Sales teams and the Channel both in Scotland and Ireland. My aim is to develop the most talented, diverse sales team built on the tenants of delivering business relevant solutions and providing an excellent service that our customer can rely on.In my spare time I am a budding triathlete and over enthusiastic rugby supporter.
