Always viewing the world through the eye of a camera, I have been involved with photography since early youth. My father, an avid photographer and graphic artist, gave me my first 35mm camera at the age of eleven. I began taking photography classes in junior high and continued to take courses throughout high school and into college. Today my experiences include photojournalism, special events and portrait photography. Having a background with traditional film has proven to be a tremendous asset for me in today’s digital world. The skills and techniques learned in the darkroom have made for a seamless transition from grains of silver to digital pixels. These unique skill sets have helped me to master not only digital photography, but several digital imaging programs such as Photoshop and Flash. During a successful stint as an enlisted recruiter in California, I developed a series of interactive recruiting CDs. After which I moved to Washington D.C. to take up position as Head of Marketing for the 317th Air Force Recruiting Squadron. While there I wore two hats as Marketing Director and Staff Photographer for dozens of local and national events. My experience with recruiting and marketing helped in developing my third interactive (Marketing) CD which has now become the national standard for all of Air Force Recruiting. As a photojournalist, I have traveled worldwide capturing everything from our nation’s capital to Paris France. Expanding on my repertoire, I have spent the past year as assistant to wedding photographer Felicia Marquez with her business "Beauty through a Photograph". From this experience, I have recently branched off from Assistant to Associate where we’ll be working in tandem with one another allowing us to cover more wedding events individually.Specialties: Director of Marketing, Advertising, Primary Photographer and Editor, Graphics Designer, Staff Photographer, Public Affairs & Human Resources
