The Office of Organizational Excellence (OOE) partners with individuals and teams to improve outcomes for our community and business partners. The OOE accomplishes this goal by applying sound business principles to project management, performance management, strategic planning, employee development, and formal research. More specifically, The OOE provides project management expertise through active involvement in formal projects and by providing project management training via an on-staff certified Project Management Professional (PMP). The OOE also partners with departmental teams to improve performance by integrating process toolkits such as Six Sigma and LEAN. The Office of Organizational Excellence provides strategic planning services to assist departments develop and manage their strategic plans. Additionally, the OOE provides formal analysis and recommendations to help individual employees and teams realize their potential. The OOE also performs high quality research on a wide range of issues that impact programs and clients.

Successful in numerous roles at Seminole County Government with increasing levels of responsibility, including:-Managing a staff responsible for infrastructure improvements, public services, housing activities, homeless services and economic development for local communities and individuals in need.- Implementing and managing the Office of Organizational Development, which provides services that include strategic alignment, workforce knowledge/leadership, organizational service design and a results oriented performance culture. - Creating and managing the IT Project Management Office: Implemented IT program management, formal project management processes and project management training. - Initiating and integrating formal Business Process Management into the enterprise, including standard processes and templates. - Successfully managing diverse teams and programs to realize improved outcomes, including the Project Management Office, Software Development Program, Geographical Information Systems Program and the Document Management Program.- Served as a Board appointed Chairman of the Central Florida Expressway Authority Operations Committee August, 2015 - August 2016. - Member of the Project Management Institute, Central Florida Chapter Executive Oversight Board.

• Developed and taught undergraduate courses in organizational design, project management, business process management, computer-mediated communication, and strategic planning.

Leveraged Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional techniques to develop and re-engineer processes at the Fortune 500 level. • Led cross departmental team to develop an “end to end” Lean Supply Chain Management process that eliminated $5.2M of expense (2006).• Active participant in designing and delivering technician/engineer dispatch processes to improve network operations key performance indicators (2007).• Initiated and managed an enterprise level effort to develop project management standards/best practices (2006-2007). Accomplishments included a standardized training portal, centralized document repository and project management maturity plan.• Facilitated a national summit and led teams to develop remote loop testing best practices within Embarq (2007). Led audit improvement project (payback < 6 months, 5+ year life).

Performed program management at the regional level and supervised project managers leading complex technology related projects.Served on national team to design and implement a nation-wide switching network.
