New Systems Design / System Modifications- Current role includes designing, developing, and testing C# programs for migrating data from existing systems in the old company to new systems in the new company.- Responsible for the design and development of an extensive data import process to support a new web site environment that relies on numerous data points. The processes were developed using over 30 SSIS packages. A template approach was used to enable quick development and standardized alerting. This approach was important to ensure a stable and easily maintainable set of processes. Also, incorporated a parallel synchronization process to facilitate accurate data and content validation.- Responsible for the design and development of a set of custom reports for our portfolio accounting system. Over 30 custom reports created using SSRS. Some of the reports integrated with Dot net components that allowed for the extraction and preparation of data from a proprietary application.- Assisted in the integration of a new CRM system for the retail sales group. Responsibilities included preparing and scrubbing data for the conversion. - Designed, developed and documented repeatable process to receive encrypted trade files and import into CRM system. Used SSIS to create many of the processes which were designed to alert support upon failure and enable quick troubleshooting when necessary.- Responsible for internal data warehouse environment. Took over responsibilities from original designer and tasked to incorporate new data and reports. Also, created an archival process when the size of databases became too large and data import processes were taking too long to complete. - Responsible for integration, customization, and deployment of a new portal product for an internal web site. Customizations included enabling access to content and data on from an external database.
