The Rotations have been developed to avoid any repetitions on job roles and has reduced likelihood of repetitive strain injuries by rotating operators around different jobs every 30 minutes.· Leading Green belt project to reduce number of defects produced by wrapping machines, looking at the inconsistent bulk of the biscuits produced and reducing this to a be within specifications which could save the business· Working with multifunctional team as Team Manager representation to look at rehab and restrictions and how to reduce number of operators staying on short term restrictions for extended periods of time

Key Contributions• Developed and introduced a Pick & Pack process, significantly increasing order output from 600 per week to 3000 per week, to help meet the challenges presented by rapid growth.• Reduced average error-per-packer from 5 per month to 1 per month through the introduction of a per-invoice set of checks and through encouraging packers to work in smaller batch sizes.• Developed and introduced Quality Control processes for the production facility to greatly improve consistency of product, reducing product recalls to zero since their implementation.• Project managed the move from a 7,000 square foot facility to a new 21,000 square foot facility which completed in 1 weekend, with minimal staff, saving the company £1000’s in lost revenue and reputation from a lengthier downtime.• Worked together with software developers to design, build and migrate to a new database in order to better track and trace individual ingredients for each product; current stock levels; and demand over time. This helps maintain optimum stock levels of raw ingredients against projected sales of products.• Production was struggling to meet stock demands and SKU’s were going out of stock. A Review of production volumes and scheduling has lead to us holding an optimum level of stock and has allowed us to increase from making 50 SKU’s to over 800 with minimal staff increase.• Rewrote the website-published product descriptions to meet EFSA standards.• Leading Managers meetings on overall strategy of the business has led to the discovery that our current strategy’s effectiveness was not being monitored. Once I put the metrics in place it showed it did not work so more focus was put on more profitable products. Our monthly GP increased by 8% in the first 2 months
