The Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the hobby of model aviation and encouraging the development of young minds in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.As the fundraising arm of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), we strive to advance the education of individuals and groups interested in model aviation through educational programs, scholarships, and outreach initiatives.The AMA Foundation was founded in 2013 with a mission to support the AMA's goals of promoting the safe operation of model aircraft, fostering innovation and creativity in aviation design, and providing a welcoming community for aviation enthusiasts. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to inspire young people to pursue their passion for aviation and STEM education through a variety of programs and initiatives.At the Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation, we believe that model aviation provides a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn about aerodynamics, design, and technology. Our programs include Camp AMA, which aims to inspire young people to pursue careers in aviation and STEM fields, and the support of the National Model Aviation Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of model aviation artifacts in the world. We also provide scholarships and grants to help aspiring students and clubs attend school, improve their flying sites, expose the community to the hobby, rebuild after natural disasters, and so much more.We are proud to be a part of the AMA community and to share our love of model aviation with the world. 34 years serving the Hamilton County community and I am still honored to contribute what I can to make my community safe, prepared and ready for emergencies. I am the UAS Program Manager as well as an emergency response pilot, I also serve as the EOC Operations Section Chief, and the Asset Manager of our 12000 square foot warehouse. I have been a professional Firefighter and emergency responder for 34 years. I have held the positions of firefighter, assistant chief, hazmat coordinator, ladder engineer, rescue boat operator, emergency management coordinator. I was the Noblesville Fire Department Hazmat Coordinator for 20 years managing the emergency response, planning, and the training activities of the hazmat division. In 2014 I had the distinct pleasure of leading the NFD hazmat division to a FEMA Type II rating. This took 2-days of audit and evaluation but it was well worth being under the miroscope.

I am an inventor with more than 90 inventions of my own design. I have two patents and I have sold three of my inventions. It's fun and I enjoy inventing. It's also a family thing, When my dad was alive he helped me all the time. My wife, kids, and grandchildren also invent things with me.
