The InsideRx application includes a web-based tool and a back-end integration engine. The integration engine manages the sharing of information between Looking Glass and a contracted prescription processor. Accomplishments include:• Developed the detailed design of the application user interface and integration engine.• Modeled the database structure using Erwin for deployment on MySQL.• Design, configuration, and installation of technical architecture with virtual machines using VMware at a contracted hosting service.• Supervised the programmers, established coding standards, reviewed all code, researched Java related technologies and transferred knowledge to the developers.• Coded the complex areas of the application user interface in Java. Developed a number of JSP Custom Taglibs. Responsibilities included:• Developed detailed design of the application user interface.• Modeled the database structure using Erwin for deployment on SQL Server.• Designed the XML schema structure for the XML documents stored within an XML repository.• Developed a web service for retrieval of XML documents from an XML repository.• Supervised the migration of the XML repository from XStreamDB to TextML Server by IxiaSoft.• Managed a team of off-shore Java developers in India.• Established the Java standards and coding conventions. Developed the technical architecture and executed the proof-of-concept to validate the performance, usability, and development capabilities of the technologies.• Technical Lead for the development of the Web-based Membership Delivery System for Lions Clubs International.• Lead Architect and developer on Worldtab for Windows for a marketing research company. Worldtab is a software product that allows users to view and analyze the results of surveys in a variety of different ways.

The Trade Order Workflow System manages the approval process of large dollar customer trade orders.• Lead Architect and developer of the Globix Framework. The Globix Framework is a Java based reusable framework that defines user interface components in XML.• Lead Architect on the development of a business plan and prototype for a peer-to-peer networking system for higher education. Responsibilities included development of a technical architecture and research into peer-to-peer networking products and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) products such as TIBCO and MQ Series.• Lead Architect of a custom system for the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM). IREM is an association for real estate property managers. This system allowed property manages to submit income and expense data over the web. IREM analysts then reviewed, validated and published the data in five books on a yearly basis.

Shortly after release, Gupta purchased the product and incorporated it into the SQLWindows tool. Developed a number of web-based applications at the early stages of the Internet. Projects include:• Lead developer on a Lotus Notes/Domino application for the Equity Research department of Northern Trust Company.• Lead developer on a Customer Information System for Great Brands of Europe. This system tracked customer complaints within a Lotus Notes database.• Lead technical architect on the Voltage tool for a RAM manufacturing company named VisionTek. Voltage is an online technical advisor for RAM memory upgrades. This product was entirely written in Java and ran as a Java applet.• Contractor to Centura Software Corporation for the development of the Web Access QuickObjects.• Principal developer of the Visual Toolchest Class Library for SQLWindows. This product includes over 200 functions and 20 custom controls that extend the SQLWindows environment.• Lead technical developer on the Customer Information Management System for Sanwa Business Credit Corporation. This system integrated lease and loan data from a variety of subsystems to provide comprehensive credit exposure information.• Lead developer on the Nielsen Solution System for A. C. Nielsen Company. This system allowed clients to query marketing research data.• Lead developer on a client/server based Product Identification and Coding System for UPC review items at A.C. Nielsen Company. This system provided workflow management for the data collection process of food store products.

Transactions were maintained on a network database before automatically posting onto 3270 screens. Development was in a 4GL database product named Metaview. Developed a C interface to RabbitGate HLLAPI to perform the automated postings.
