Reliance Properties is a prominent landlord and developer of unique property. Primarily a downtown Vancouver and Victoria company with a variety of buildings to meet most tenant requirements. As Director of Leasing I ensured vacancy was kept to a minimum while maximizing revenue. I achieved this by ensuring existing tenants were always satisfied in their premises and happy with the way they were treated by the landlord. I do this exceptionally well. Nobody likes to hear stories of how landlords have let tenants down in their time of need or even in day-to-day requirements and every day I worked to make sure this did not happen. I was involved in developments (new-build projects) and also managed buildings (aka assets) to ensure operating costs are kept to a minimum whilst providing a good level of services to tenants.There are always deals that are near impossible to put together. This is where I shine. I love being creative and I thrive on challenge.

As Director of Marketing and Leasing I oversaw 2,000,000 square feet of industrial, office and retail property in the Lower Mainland including building renovations and ground-up development and lease-up of such as the Centre of Newton 100,000+ sf shopping centre in Surrey, BC.

This was my pet project for 4 years – and a project for which I am extremely proud. It is known as the Best Climbing Gym in South Africa. As the founder, designer and president I oversaw all aspects of the business: negotiating the lease, gym design and construction (over 14 tons of steel!), engineering, permits, staffing, accounting systems, customer relations, safety procedures. Above all (literally), this gym facility changed the face of rock climbing in South Africa and is a Cape Town landmark.

Working with a group of high achieving real estate professionals, I focused on industrial and retail sales and leasing. Over the years I transacted hundreds of deals in Greater Vancouver.
