As Founder and CEO, I am no stranger to the hospitality industry, in 1990 me and my best friend Paul Becker built what went on to become Hotel Coupons. We were one of the original pioneers of marketing last minute hotel deals to roadside travelers in the U.S. We started in California with 100,000 circulation and grew the business over the next ten years to an annual circulation of 24 million guides per year. The Company was sold in 2000 to PRIMEDIA, the largest magazine publisher in the World at that time. Hotel Coupons went on to publish 1 billion guides during its illustrious history.In 2012, I launched Guest Trends, Guest Trends offers Hotels and Motels reputation management, social media marketing and ADA compliant websites for Hotel Management Companies and Independent Hotels.In 2017, I realized that the current owners of Hotel Coupons only saw it as a publishing Company and that is when I decided to buy it back. I saw it as a technology buy and after a few failed attempts to acquire the Company, myself and my investors were successful in reacquiring it back in February of 2022. In Fall of 2023 we will be launching Drive. Based on my 33 years in the hospitality business, the 36 States I have traveled to by car and the thousands among thousands miles I have driven, I can honestly say, Drive is by far the best road trip app I’ve ever seen!
