I teach comedy writing and performing and consult with producers and writers on scripts. In New York, I co-founded and was Artistic Director of Manhattan Punch Line, a theatre completely devoted to comedy. I helped develp writers like David Crane (Friends) and Peter Tolan (The Larry Sanders Show). In Los Angeles I worked for HBO, developing writers and comedians like Jack Black and Nia Vardalos. I've had two books published: THE HIDDEN TOOLS OF COMEDY and THE COMIC HERO'S JOURNEY, and working on a third book about writing comedy for television. I've traveled around the globe teaching comedy performance and writing workshops. Next up: Milan in Winter 2024
