I’m an industrial designer who over the last several years has been developing architectural lighting as a member of some amazing design teams across North America. I first developed an interest for lighting in my later years at school, intrigued by light’s ability to transform a space while remaining a near invisible element of design. I turned this interest into a passion and have been creating innovative lighting fixtures since.The most significant thing I have developed over the course of my career thus far is a strong design process. I believe innovative ideas find their genesis in the ridiculous and unconsidered, and that through an iterative process of failure, evaluation, and redesign, ideas that initially seem impossible can be refined and eventually realized to create something new.I am incredibly grateful that I get to design for a living. Design has taken me to some incredibly unique places, and allowed me the opportunity to work with truly remarkable and inspiring people.
