I'm a PR / earned media consultant and former agency leader with two decades of experience in consumer and B2B PR, providing communications counsel to some of the best-known brands, as well as helping to build new brands and startups.I now lead a PR and creative comms consultancy, helping brands and small businesses get talked about, by the people that matter, on the topics that matter - to drive meaningful business results. I have held leadership roles in major London agencies, including as Managing Director of M&C Saatchi TALK and Managing Partner of The Brooklyn Brothers. I've been responsible for developing award-winning creative campaigns and successfully driving growth for both agencies and clients.Much of my work is focused on helping businesses grow by developing national and international PR strategies, then shaping and sharing stories to earn attention in paid, owned and earned channels.For agencies, I provide senior support, cover for team members, a strategic head to run a successful new business pitch, lead creative development or senior client handling on projects.Because I've spent years in agency world, I can hit the ground running, I’m used to the pace of agencies and can catch any ball and confidently run with it. I’ve got a wide mix of sector experience across global and UK comms, consumer and corporate clients, but have particularly deep roots in automotive (Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, Hyundai, Honda, Genesis, Castrol), a lot of time under my belt running major retail clients (Currys, Homebase, Foot Locker, Pernod Ricard travel retail) and a passion for and experience supporting technology brands (Apple, EE, Sonos, FujiFilm, Currys).I’ve also worked in travel (Iceland tourism, Carnival Cruise Lines, Club Med), drinks (Grand Marnier, The Glen Grant, The Absolut Company) and finance (NatWest, Investec, Lucinity, Travelex).My formative years were spent as a magazine journalist, learning the craft of storytelling and the importance of understanding the audience.
