Consulting at Springbok Energy: converted a collection of unfinished Visual Basic MS Access applications to single-page intranet web applications built in MVC 5, Entity Framework 6, SQL Server, Web API 2, and AngularJS 1.5.9. Overcame many challenges including the customer's need to edit and save in multiple grid views as lists of child entities on the same page.Consulting at the Dallas Entrepreneur Center: customized the DEC's Salesforce organization including creation of custom objects and writing APEX triggers to create a Google Calendar invite upon web-to-lead form submission.Consulting for Item Master: customized Item Master's Salesforce organization including creation of custom Visualforce pages that allowed for the user to select multiple checkboxes for objects in a many-to-many relationship. The Visualforce pages included the ability to filter the list with input boxes that made AJAX calls to the APEX controller.

Maintained a custom-built web content management system (CMS) built in ASP.NET with a SQL Server database. Worked with account management and project management to identify and implement new features in the CMS. Created and maintained the data import/export processes in SSIS. Worked with the web production team to modernize our HTML templates/layouts to responsive web design with HTML5 and Bootstrap. Responsible for troubleshooting production server outages and communicating current status with the team.

Boy Scouts of America national office in Irving. Worked with the Marketing team to bring multiple existing BSA national web sites into Sitecore CMS. Improved on existing Sitecore CMS implementation for greater multimedia flexibility for the content editors.Created Sitecore templates, layouts, and sub layouts for increased productivity for content editors. Set up role-based security for users with access to specific site content as well as specific publishing rights through the workflow. Enhanced the shared-source RSS module with added XML elements for use with Flash slideshows. Added a dialog box and toolbar item to the WYSIWYG editor that allowed content editors to browse a SharePoint document repository and link to their selected document.

Filled the role of Technology Consultant for LeanCuisine.com, SkinnyCow.com, EskimoPie.com, Drumstick.com, and SilkSoymilk.com. Advised account management, project management, creative, and the client on how to best use web technology for the brand’s messaging within the advertising budget. Prepared estimates for individual projects as well as yearly budgets. Created new web sites, redesigned/rebranded existing web sites, and produced monthly and quarterly email campaigns.Managed a team of six developers of varying skill and discipline. Skills included web/email client specialists, .NET engineers, JAVA engineers, and PHP developers. I take the "problem children" applications, the ones that no one else wants, and I make them better. My excellent troubleshooting skills and my ability to learn extremely fast make me well suited for this task. I also work closely with the product managers to estimate development efforts so that they can more accurately predict release schedules.

Managed 13 application developers who supported and maintained our premier B2C application, WebMakerX. WebMakerX is a single ASP.NET codebase that serves 5000 individual and highly configurable automotive dealer websites. I managed full SDLC on this and other custom web applications.

Part of a four-person team responsible for converting our premier web application, WebMakerX, from classic ASP to ASP.NET. Though the functionality of the app either remained the same or was added to, the whole database architecture was revamped for .NET.

Managed a small team of developers (4 - 8) who had full SDLC of our web applications: WebMakerX (themed, pre-fab, customizable websites for automotive dealers), CarClient (100% web-based CRM and lead management tool for automotive dealers), Gulf States Toyota (about 150 Toyota dealer websites with centralized content management), AutoNation (about 400 dealer websites with centralized content management based on region and dealer group), and other fully custom one-off web applications.
