Planned, scheduled and implemented all elements of maintenance management to include Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) on assigned TACOM systems and for other users of assigned systems. Conducted research and evaluation on deficiencies reported from the field, authored and reviewed technical information for publications, Technical Manuals (TMs), Technical Bulletins (TBs), Supply Bulletins (SBs), Modification Work Orders (MWOs), Maintenance Advisory Messages (MAMs), Equipment Improvement Recommendations (EIRs), and DA FORM 2028s for accuracy to enhance support of Joint Services in the field.Developed and implemented TACOM Chem-Bio’s first Performance Based Agreement (PBA) with the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). The agreement lasted 3 years and dramatically improved USASOC’s Operational Readiness Rates (ORR) from an ORR of approximately 50-60% to an ORR above 90% without an increase in costs to the unit.Authored Statements Of Work (SOWs) for multiple decon theater support contracts. Led contract price negotiations resulting in a total cost savings of over $1 million dollars without compromising support to the warfighter. Served as the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) on multiple Contracted Logistic Support (CLS) contracts valued over $2 million dollars. -
Drill SergeantUs Army May 2002 - May 2005Served as a Drill Sergeant in an Army Reserve Basic Combat Training Company. Trained platoons of 40-50 recruits in basic soldiering skills in classroom and field environments. Planed, coordinated and conducted all training with guidance from superior officers in accordance with army regulations and with the use of army regulations and technical manuals. Duties included teaching and enforcing discipline, military courtesy, drill and ceremonies, various soldering skills and army values. Prepared, managed and instructed on small arms weapons systems to include M16A2, M4, M60, M249, M9, M203, M2, M72 (LAW), M136 (AT4), MK19, M18A1 (Claymore Mine). Training on weapons systems includes; loading, unloading, performing functions check, correcting malfunctions, maintenance, marksmanship, firing positions, range safety and execution with the weapon. Taught basic first aid to include evaluating a casualty, CPR, control bleeding, splinting a fracture, treat for burns, hot weather injuries, cold weather injuries, transportation of casualties, and treatment in a CBRN environment. Taught basic land navigation to include map reading, measuring distance on a map terrain feature identification, pace count, determining grid coordinates, compass reading, and shooting an azimuth.Trained soldiers on CBRN detection, reaction to, protection from (including use and maintenance of the M40 protective mask), and basic first aid for. Supervised appointed trainee squad leaders in day-to-day activities in the platoon and ensured that all training was conducted to standard.
