I am a well respected and highly collaborative senior leader with almost 23 years of extensive experience within both state and privately owned energy utilities. I am passionate about providing safety leadership, trusted communications, support and empowerment to diverse and highly skilled teams and developing people and capability. Experienced in both leadership and technical roles in the areas of operations, engineering, planning, asset management, transformation and business improvement supporting complex and diverse regulated network assets. Throughout my career I have led large and diverse teams and made significant contributions to improving safety performance for both the workforce and customers. I have been accountable for successfully delivering large and complex portfolios of infrastructure maintenance and asset replacement programs, projects and contracts of in excess of $90M.Led, developed and implemented both asset management and field delivery innovation and continuous improvement initiatives including the reduction in annual system maintenance of in excess of $32M year on year and improvements in field delivery safety, efficiency and productivity. I am deeply passionate and motivated to develop and empower leaders. I enjoy working collaboratively to develop both organisational and local leadership programs. My leadership style is inclusive and is focused on driving collaboration, accountability and team work to achieve results and to create a high-performance culture to live organisational values. For several years I have been at the forefront of leading and coordinating large scale disaster and other emergency response activities to safely respond to public safety hazards and improve network and asset reliability.Strategic and corporate planning with strong commercial focus and highly refined financial skills and business acumen.I am now contributing to a significant transformation of the energy sector with a strategic objective to achieve 80% penetration of renewables. This requires us to lead the industry to safely and reliably integrate new renewables and technologies into Power Systems.
