Community Safety Advisor – Community Safety Unit
CurrentPlaying a pivotal role in spearheading & monitoring community safety & support programs throughout the city. Creating a safe & harmonious work environment by effectively leading, coaching, and training team members. Analyzing programs offered through the Toronto Community Housing Corporation in order to deliver quality of service, organizational performance, and safety throughout the community. Demonstrating extensive knowledge of social housing legislation and guidelines, including Residential Tenancies Act, Housing Services Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act (OH&S), and Ontario Human Rights Code.✔Achievement: Delivered strategic advice, solutions, & support to community issues which resulted in transitioning in various job roles at Toronto Community Housing Corporation. Positions included: Health Promotion Officer, Community Housing Supervisor, Community Health Manager, to current role as a Community Safety Advisor (Community Safety Unit).
