Through Prowess Consulting LLC, I work on Microsoft's Employee and Social Communications team as a content editor for MSW, the intranet portal delivering news and essential resources for Microsoft's more than 200,000 employees worldwide.As part of this role, I work with stakeholders across the company to shape promotions that drive employee attention to important company/industry initiatives and relevant employee resources. I create copy and images to help support these promotions, and I help publish this content on our website as well as in our weekly, all-company email newsletters.Additionally, I edit and review content for other Employee and Social Comms teams for Microsoft style and brand adherence.

Through Entirenet LLC, I edited and published technical documentation for Microsoft. As a technical editor for the Microsoft Knowledge Base, I edited developer-level content for products such as SQL Server, BizTalk Server, and Visual Studio. Additionally, I wrote and copy edited consumer-level content for Microsoft Live products and Microsoft Office. I also prepared training materials, including interactive labcasts, video transcripts, and lab manuals.

Through Polaris Group, I proofread and published Web pages and HTML newsletters for the Microsoft for Partners and Microsoft in Education Web sites.

At Outside Online and for ABCNEWS.com, I researched, performed quality control, wrote, copy edited, and independently chose, prioritized, edited, and produced stories from news wire services and other sources.
