I will be helping to develop a new Christian University in the Yucatan State of Mexico. We will welcome the first class of students in September, 2015. Until that time, I will working from my office in Columbia, South Carolina. This is an exciting but daunting task of creating an educational program while recruiting faculty and students. The first order of business is developing consulting groups for advice in various areas. Many of my contacts here have far more experience and expertize than I in the higher education field. I welcome your help.We hope to develop programs which will serve students from Mexico, Latin America and the United States as well as students from transitional countries. We have the opportunity to develop an international university which is global in practice and not merely in nomenclature. We also have the opportunity to bypass many of the traditions and procedures which plague many existing colleges from moving into a 21st century relevant institution. I assist with scheduling courses, hiring and training adjunct instructors, advising general education studies majors, and tracking students academic progress. I work with highly qualified deans assisting them in their varied duties in higher education administration.
