Joined a team that is working on software to unite biometric databases with textual analysis databases. Created a back-end Accumulo MapReduce job to ingest celebrity photos as well as celebrity information from Twitter. Also made a REST service to help connect the back-end database to a front-end web page. This allowed the information from the back-end to be queried from the database and display a JSON string that can be parsed and displayed nicely in a web page front-end. Help create HTML documents of our final reports to be posted to our client page. Create XML graphs that are used in various reports. Verify the results of the surveys with the report to make sure all numbers are the same.
