Opened 7 Foot Spas on the High Street employing and managing over 40 staff with plans to open 20 Spas within a 12month period throughout the United Kingdom.

Production of marketing material which included newsletters, flyers, posters and banners for blue chip companies,political parties and a diverse range of local and national businesses. We offered the full range of services fromconceptual design, strategic planning, all the way through to full marketing plan implementation.During the 20 years I ran a team of 33 staff we never missed a deadline even if this meant driving the marketingmaterials to our client. A 60 hour week for me was not unusual. Budgeting, project management and importantlythe personal development of all the staff working within the business was a standard procedure which I undertookon a daily basis.As Managing Director it was my role to ensure that client's issues were resolved on a timely fashion. We had monthlymeetings with the accountants to ensure that my business was on track for growth, and I had outright responsibilityfor project management. Over the 20 years of running the company, all employees, including myself, were membersof a very successful team, with minimal staff turnover.

myresponsibility was producing and evaluating of all 22 franchisee's business performances, along with production of allmarketing literature to help them succeed in driving their businesses forward. As part of my training with MansfieldBrewery I spent 4 weeks in Texas with one of the biggest employers in the USA the Marketing Directors of the DwyerGroup, learning from them their procedures and marketing strategies with a view to implementing them on return tothe United Kingdom.

As Sales Manager at Mansfield Newspapers I led the Sales Department with a team of 6 representatives and a bankteam of telesales, as well as looking after all business key accounts in the Mansfield area of which Mansfield Breweryat the time were the largest employer in Mansfield and our largest key account, who at a future date approached mewith a view to working for them directly.
