As a R&D professional with expertise in exercise physiology, nutrition, dietary supplements/nutraceuticals, and product innovation, I am passionate about leveraging science and technology to create impactful solutions for the health and fitness industry. With a proven track record of designing and launching successful products, I thrive on pushing boundaries and finding new ways to optimize performance and recovery while improving overall health and wellness.In industry, I work across R&D departments to deliver on strategic, product innovations. A key component to the success for innovation is working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to lead new product developments from ideation to launch. I am adept at identifying consumer needs and leveraging insights to develop innovative solutions that meet and exceed expectations. In parallel with these experiences, I am afforded the opportunity to work with scientists, both internally and externally to deliver on nutrition education and clinical/applied research. During my time in academia, I worked as a researcher and instructor, mentoring and supervising undergraduates in an applied physiology lab and classroom. Meanwhile, I acquired experience in sales, managing merchandising and employee productivity. As a result, I have cultivated the skills to manage projects as a strategic risk taker, leader, and collaborator, while learning to invite ambiguity and lean into situations that call for flexibility and adaptability.
