It taught me that we have an obligation to ensure that the next generation of construction professionals that pass through our care, need to be given values such as ownership and process. The right method of delivery to our clients combined with good leadership and investment in both people and technology will ensure that our industry has a bright future.I started out as a draughtsman and ended up running my own companies. In between that, lots of projects, lots of problems. lots of friends. Highlights were Wembley Stadium, Whittington Hospital, Project Bridge (GSK), Castle Mall, Euro Disney, Glaxo Robotics, British Gas Research Facility, Nomura Bank to name a few.The team I worked with at Mitie Interiors at 11-12 St James showed me another level of teamwork and delivery that I took with me and implemented within my own teams. Those same team members have now moved on and are all exceptional in their given fields, something of which I am immensely proud.
