Plant Operations Turnaround Lead for the KTL Plants. In this position, I mentored a newly developed team of TCO operators, we revamped and modernize the operations Turnaround performance for the KTL Units. The team and I are updating the way operations develops worklist, use of the Isolation Database, Systems approach, SCS procedures step outs and how we interact with other work groups to help make the best decisions. We have made significant progress for the 2017, 2018 & 2019 Turnarounds and will continue to make large improvements to IMPACT process at KTL’s. 2019 TA is the largest TA for TCO, we have so far shutdown and cleaned up KTL-1 T-1 and T-2 without any safety incidents and on schedule.

SGP is a 42,000 MT crude oil facility which removes +- 240,000 ppm H2S from oil, WHU is charged with SWS capabilities with a new 65 M3/hr SWS train. De-bottle neck current SWS D-801 to increase to 45 M3/hr. from 35M3/hr. Improving water quality at the Water Treatment Plant U-9100 increase Demin flow to 4400 M3/day with new technology, MB Demineralizer introduced to SGP Tengiz. Waste Water treatment U-9300 improving water quality at the WWTP with a new DAF, two new storage tanks. Heavy involved in operation assurance (OA) / (POP) / (ORR) review and approve commissioning plans for WHU project. Reviewed and comment on all documents relating to POP/OA for WHU project. MOC Owner of 90 + MOC’s pertaining to WHU project, I interface closely with all groups at SGP, Facility Engineering, Loss Prevention, Operations, maintenance and business partners. I Worked closely with WHU project engineering group on all aspects of the project, reviewing PID’s, Iso’s and job packs for approval, I conduct meeting with all groups concerning high risk work inside the DRZ SGP, WHU has executed several tie ins (51) into live systems each system was mitigated to ensure safety to operations and to BP’s while bypassing or taking equipment out of service, I have developed risk mitigations for each tie in, I have taken mitigation plans to operations and Ops management on our concerns and methods to execute work safely, We have executed all tie-ins without incidents. WHU tie ins are predominantly in SGP double red zone where the potential of exposure to H2S is higher than normal while shutting down SWS small systems to execute our work, we used the tenants of operation as our standard and follow it very closely. I always involve the right personnel into the risk analysis and mitigation plans.
