Develop and implementation of Health and safety for the site. 2. Developing safety policies and Procedures on site. 3. Conducting site risk assessments and implementing the findings to ensure that all controls put in place from the risk assessments are implemented and followed. 4. Conducting Pre-Job Hazard analysis for all critical tasks. 5. Inducting and training of all employees and contractors before the start of any works. 6. Implementation of Vehicle safety management to ensure that all drivers are trained, routes assessed, and defensive driving’s are conducted. 7. Ensuring that all legal documents are in place by working with Zambia Environmental Management Agencies, Councils, Ministry of Labor and any other Government agencies to ensure compliances. 8. Maintaining accidents and incidents registers and investigate all accidents and make recommendations to ensure that no reoccurrences of the similar accident on site. 9. Developing and implementation of an Emergency Action Plan for the site which includes conducting fire and first aid drills

Formulating company policies in Safety, Health and Quality procedures and communicating to ensure that all employees are fully trained. 2. Develop farmer specific safety training to ensure that all Cargill farmers in Origination understands the risks associated with the chemicals they are using 3. Analyzing all incidents which have Serious Injuries and Fatality (SIF) potential and develop management system to ensure that all those issues picked are closed out on time. 4. Carrying out Ergonomic Risk Assessments on the employees and came up with recommendations on how to do the particular task in a safe and ergonomically friendly way. 5. Conducting the Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Project Brief on major project and ensuring that all mitigation risks arising from the EMA/EPMP are implemented as guided by Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) 5. Inspection of the plant and making sure that all the equipment is being operated as per Government and company policies and procedures. 6. Implement Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) for the site and ensure full roll out 7. Carrying out Risk Assessment (RA) and Pre-Job Hazard Analysis (PJHA)on any task before it can be done and also on all jobs and equipment’s being 7installed to identify any risks which might pose a danger to the employees doing the particular task. 8. Carrying out the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on any accidents or incidents to find out the cause and come up with the measures which will prevent the future reoccurrence of the same accident/incidence. 9. Picking near misses and making follow-ups so that all anomalies picked are closed out by respective officials
