Zengamina Power

Zengamina Power Ltd. is a privately-owned, regulated electric utility that has been providing renewable electricity to the residents and businesses across the Ikelenge District of North-Western Province, Zambia since 2007. Originally developed and operationalized by the North West Zambia Development Trust (http://www.nwzdt.org/?page_id=22) to serve the Kalene Mission Hospital and the surrounding rural population and local businesses, Zengamina Power is now expanding through partnerships with rural utility developer and investor, Virunga Power, and its Zambian partner, Hydro Electric Power Ltd. Our goal is to expand energy access to serve the entire Ikelenge District with reliable, clean, and affordable power.
