Serve as a member of a highly specialized armed protective force of Federal Agents, which are responsible for the safe and secure transportation of classified and/or hazardous materials including nuclear weapons, components, test assemblies, and strategic quantities of weapons-grade special nuclear materials. This involves the operation of Government-owned motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers. I integrate many processes and methods in the fields of security; investigations; health and safety; emergency management; and law enforcement, including tactical operations to respond to a multitude of possible natural and/or man-made threats to the safety and security of sensitive, dangerous, and extremely valuable cargo. Participate in security planning prior to trip departures; assess multiple issues and factors related to shipment security during convoy operations; coordinate with other Federal, State or local law enforcement agencies and first responders concerning the investigation of potential criminal or terrorist acts or activities that could be considered a threat to the mission. I am armed to provide the force necessary, up to and including the use of deadly force, to prevent theft, sabotage or takeover by unauthorized persons or groups. Respond quickly and effectively to environmental, resource, safety and security issues that may arise unexpectedly in the course of mission operations.

Responsible for providing support to integrating security forces and resources during crises, events, and exercises supporting over 30,000 Department of Defense employees located throughout 44 Pentagon Facilities. Played an integral role in the planning, developing, and implementing of special projects and programs in support of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency’s Integrated Emergency Operations Center, recommending beneficial changes in development of mission goals, objectives, tasks, policies, and procedures. Provide constant assistances to Law Enforcement Security Operations Supervisors by ensuring that the security common operational picture in the Pentagon Force Protection Agencies area of responsibility is maintained at all times and that Agency resources (force protection/first response) are properly deployed to counter security threats/vulnerabilities. Supports and assists shift supervisors in the Pentagon Police Directorate public safety answering point emergency call center in accordance with the standards established by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Directs and monitor the organizational response to all Pentagon Facilities physical intrusion and duress alarms, systems anomalies, and 700 close circuit television cameras. Supports and assist in operating, responding, and integrating the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Joint Operations Division's perimeter and interior alarm/warning system, downwind hazards prediction system, and the Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Response operations. Supports and assist in the coordination of incident response with local stakeholders, such as Arlington County, Alexandria, Federal Bureau of investigation, and Secret Service, etc.

One of two Instructors who are responsible for the Annual, Semi-Annual Qualifications and Sustainment Training for (154) Office of Secure Transportation Federal Agents, specifically in the areas of Firearms/Tactics. Continually develop, plan, organize and conduct training on various topics such as: Firearms, Use of Force, Convoy Operations, Small Unit Tactics, Close Quarter Battle, Designated Marksman, Force on Force Exercises, and Emergency Management. Train Federal Agents to respond to transportation of special weapons/material’s security incidents and other incidents expeditiously on foot, or in a designated vehicle, for incident response to provide command and control presence and technical expertise. Conduct assessments and investigations of transportation modes to determine security posture; monitoring compliance with applicable transportation of special weapons/material’s security policies, regulations and agreements. Provide technical guidance to the Office of Secure Transportation on the development and modification of security plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Train Agents on when enforcement action should be initiated and recommending the type of action and level of penalty. Review and analyze assessment reports and testing results with special attention given to identifying trends which appear to have potential for developing a security problem. Provide guidance on the receiving and dissemination of Office of Secure Transportation security intelligence. Cooperate/participate in the Joint Security training exercises with other Federal, state or local government/law enforcement or industry consortium addressing Office of Secure Transportation security as required by agency policy.

Served as the program manager for parts management on the Huey and Super Cobra. Prepared government costs analysis and manufacturing costs estimates utilizing Microsoft Excel and Access programs. Analyzed aviation engineering change proposals and logistics modification proposals ensuring safety of flight for the Zulu Super Cobra and Yankee Huey. Assessed, evaluated, reviewed and prepared aviation program maintenance documentation to enable the H-1 production line to build aircraft ahead of schedule. Translated requirements and documentation into Integrated Logistics Solutions. Served as facilitator/liaison person for Bell Helicopter to over (100) prime contractors /vendors assisting in bringing parts in ahead of schedule and saving Bell Helicopter over $ 146,000 in two years. Developed analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy. Formulated and maintained quality control objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability. Participated in prime contractors/vendors site visits to maintain customer relations and to investigate product non-conformances. Assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the prime contractors/vendors and identified areas for improvement, training and professional/personal development. Lead internal and external audits of the QMS and integrated quality systems. Evaluated the in process, final and first article inspections of the prime contractors/vendors. Performed root cause analysis and implemented corrective actions for internal and external non-conformances. Performed weekly audits and prepared reports for management concerning scope of audit, conditions found, recommendations, and corrected actions. Advised the Director of Source Management in all matters relating to part shortages and hours held for parts with-in the Huey and Cobra programs.

Served as the program manager and subject matter expert for the Marine Corps martial arts program for 180,000 Marines worldwide. Managed 12 formal school black belt instructor trainers internally and 1,243 black belt instructor trainers Marine Corps wide. Developed and incorporated curriculum for each of the 5 belt disciplines (tan, gray, green, brown and black) and developed curriculum for the Marine Corps 1st degree black belt instructor trainer course to include curriculum for advancing to 2nd - 6th degree black belt. Trained over 10,000 Marines in Marine Corps martial arts. Traveled to various Marine Corps installations worldwide to assess, evaluate, and provide guidance on martial arts techniques and the martial arts program as a whole. Negotiated and maintained contracts for training facilities and trainers/advisors/subject matter experts and prepared monthly budget and status reports for the Director of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Oversaw facility site relocation and expansion from a 15,000 square foot building to a 5 acre training facility. Served as an adviser to the Director of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program in all matters related to Martial Arts.Served as a Combat Advisor for a 600 man Afghanistan Light Infantry Kandak, conducting combat operations from Nov. 2005 – June 2006. Served as the advisor to the Kandak’s Sergeant Major in all matters related to leading the Kandak’s personnel. Served as an advisor to the Kandak’s Recon Company instructing and providing guidance on the company’s mission while performing multiple combat missions with zero casualties. Gained an extensive knowledge of intelligence reporting, techniques, and methods while effectively participating in collection and research projects, applying facts and estimates derived from numerous intelligence data sources through collaboration with the Army Special Forces and the Central Intelligence Agency.
