During the past two years, I have been a volunteer with Epilepsy Connections in Glasgow and I have helped facilitate their young adults support group in Ayrshire And Arran, building rapport with other community groups and organisations including the health and social care Alliance in Glasgow. I have also attended many schools and educational events promoting awareness of epilepsy, mental health and signposted to other services available in the community such as employment support, addiction support, mental health support and support within colleges and universities. I am a qualified peer mentor and befriender with epilepsy connections and I have recently attended Curiosity Live at Glasgow’s Science Centre.Adaptable, flexible and willing to learn as well as trustworthy, honest, reliable and looking forward to being part of a team.
