Epilepsy Connections is a leading Scottish provider of information and support services for people affected by epilepsy. We work with adults and children with epilepsy, as well as their families, friends, unpaid carers, teachers and employers to ensure that they have the information and support they need to live well with epilepsy.
As well as providing information and support at the point of diagnosis and times of crisis, we provide a befriending service and social activities for adults, as well as our Epilepsy Well Connected self-management program which covers a range of topics including understanding epilepsy, managing seizures, epilepsy treatment, epilepsy and memory, and stress management; and social activities for families affected by childhood epilepsy. We provide Epilepsy Awareness Workshops for people who want to increase their epilepsy knowledge, and age-appropriate Epilepsy Awareness Workshops in schools.
